Wow! 2 Posts in 5 minutes!!!

So first of all, I just wanted to point out that everyone should go check out this amazing band called Proud Larry here. Anyway, on to the post...I just thought I should make a list of things that are overrated. Not necessarily bad (although most of them are TERRIBLE) but overrated. On that note, here we go:
Bon Jovi, Paris Hilton, George Bush (if only one person liked him, he'd still be overrated), SUVs, Republicans, Hummers, Metallica, U2, Meat loaf, hair metal (see the comment on gwb), xbox, Grand Theft Auto games, first person shooter games (this includes halo), any of those terrible non-comedy shows on primetime fox (ie American Idol, the OC, etc etc etc), country music (especially from the past 30 or so years), Napoleon Dynamite (a great movie, but nowhere near as good as people want to make it out to be), the Venture Brothers, Sealab 2021, the Lakers, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan (no, he ISN'T Jesus), MTV, pretty much anything on top 40 radio, 50 cent, eminem, Cafe Rio (good but not THAT good), the Sex Pistols (ok, but come on..."I wanna be anarchy"-what the hell?), football, Bam Margera as a skateboarder...

Someone explain this to me....

So sometimes when I'm watching TV (as I am apt to do) I see this commercial for the army. In this commercial they depict these special forces guys sitting in these hills above a terrorist camp doing recon. Of course, there are maybe 3 army guys and who knows how many terrorists. Then the ad says something like "You had enough food for 5 days......it is now day 12". What the???? This is how they recruit people??? Come join the army and we will send you to the middle of nowhere, outnumber you, pin you down in a location where you can't move or you will be killed, and then starve you!!! No wonder the army is having a hard time recruiting. This has got to be the stupidest advertisement I have ever seen. Your tax dollars at work kids. In the immortal words of Space Ghost: "....stupid...."
