Stupid Greedy People

I miss hockey. A lot. I'm not much of a football fan and my Jazz suck this year, so there is quite a void left with there being no Colorado Avalanche this year. It quite infuriates me. Especially the part where the owners turn down a proposal from the players in which a) the players agree to take a 24% pay cut off their current salaries and b) impose a luxury tax for teams that spend above a certain amount of money. So what do they owners do? Basically give them the finger and say "nope, we need a salary cap so that your salaries don't go back through the roof." Well, hmmm....seems to me that YOU SET THE PLAYERS' SALARIES, YOU MORONS! Don't give them these outrageous contracts and then we wouldn't have this problem. So now both sides are back to pouting like little school girls and I am left without hockey still. Very sad. Peaceness.
